I was so happy to receive Dr. Sharon’s gentle acupressure treatments in addition to the gentle chiropractic adjustments from Dr. Allen. Since being treated by the Dubners, the pain in my shoulder has disappeared. I rarely have a headache, and my neck feels great! I haven’t taken a single pain-killer since I’ve been coming here. The acupressure treatments helped stabilize my blood sugar and blood pressure levels. I’ve even lost weight! I feel so much more energetic now – my body feels light! I am less stressed and find it easy to accomplish daily tasks. I had been diagnosed with Diabetes and High Blood Pressure about a year ago. Six months after being diagnosed, my symptoms got worse. I had been prescribed Metformin for the diabetes and Lisinopril for my blood pressure. While I didn’t have any side effects from the drugs, I also didn’t have any relief. Being on the medications did not help keep the diabetes or the blood pressure under control. They simply did not work for me. When things seemed to be getting worse, I found Dubner Chiropractic. I started treatments with both doctors, and started seeing results within a week! I was able to get off of my medications within a couple weeks and am now off of all medications. My blood pressure and diabetes levels are normal. I used to feel tired, often to the point of exhaustion. Nowadays I feel more energetic, more active and refreshed. In the last two months I’ve lost 12 lbs.! I feel great, and much less stressed than before. I have been seeing the Dubners for less than 3 months. Both doctors are wonderful to work with. I was first diagnosed with Diabetes in 2000. My initial glucose measurements averaged 210. My physician prescribed Glucophage, Glipizide, and Lisinopril, which I take to control and lower my blood glucose levels. My levels went down to 150-160 and then stayed at this level for over a year. Then I came into the Dubners and began BRT treatment. Initially I though that nothing was happening, but then 10 days later my glucose measurements began to drop and continued to drop. My glucose levels now range from 80-120 and continue to stay low. Though I am still on my medications while doing BRT, I feel that when I go back and meet with my physician he will probably reduce my medications. I now have more energy and must say that since I’ve been getting positive results and feedback with my Diabetes, I am now motivated to check my blood sugar levels more often than before I began treatment.
My daughter and I started to see the Dubners after attending one of their talks at Whole Foods. I was suffering from High Blood pressure, Type 2 Diabetes, several bad nerves in my lower back and a painful shoulder which has bothered me since 1969. I have seen several Doctors over the years and the last place I went was Kaiser. The Doctor’s there were not kind to me and treatment was very painful. I was on so many medications that when they did a blood test it showed my Kidneys were becoming weak. Since I have been coming to see Dr. Allen and Dr. Sharon I have lowered my blood sugar level from 155 to 95 and my Diabetes is so much better that I am off my Diabetes medication. The High Blood pressure has come down from 170/91 to 109/52. My shoulder is feeling a lot less painful. This allows me to do more things. My whole mood and emotions have changed for the better! I have been so very happy and impressed with Dubner Family Chiropractic. I respond so much better to a caring and friendly environment. When asked would I recommend this care to others? YES! 100% I like the way I feel no pain with their treatments.
