For many years I was suffering from painful osteoarthritis in every joint and had terrible pain in the nerves on my ankle. I was diagnosed with degenerative discs causing me severe pain in my lower back. I tried many different treatments. I tried physical therapy and acupuncture. Then, I went to my primary doctor and ask to see a neurologist, but instead I was sent to integrated medicine. There they prescribed me cortisone shots. The shots did not have any real side effects, but after 3 months I did not want to keep fueling my body with all these medications. None of these treatments seem to work for me. My body was suffering, it was getting harder and harder for me to do different things and I was becoming less enthusiastic. The pain level and my fatigue were so terrible that I got to the point where I did not even want to attempt to do anything. I have been going to Dr. Allen and Dr. Sharon for just 6 weeks and I have seen such great results! My general pain level was once an excruciating 10 but now it has decreased to a 1 or 0, which none of the medications I was taking were able to do. Due to the great decrease in my pain level, I feel more active and wanting to do more activities. As far as my muscle in my hamstring, it has improved significantly in strength. I do not feel as much hamstring pain and more importantly I have less muscle spasms. My constant fatigue has decreased and now I am more energetic. I am more relaxed and I appreciate regular daily things every chance I get. As an extra bonus my sinus congestion cleared up!

I first found out about Dubner Chiropractic from a talk that Drs. Dubner did at Stanford back in May 2004. For two years before coming in to see the Dubners, I had been experiencing pain from osteoarthritis and my energy level was low, especially in the evening, which I thought was due to my sleep apnea. In the last two months since I began seeing the Dubners, my energy level has skyrocketed and the pain from my osteoarthritis is almost gone. Not even a year later, I’ve noticed that my fingernails are much stronger and I know it’s because of the treatments I’ve been receiving from the Doctors, because all my life I’ve had brittle nails that had extremely slow growth that never grew past the tip of my nail bed. Any growth I did have would splinter and then break off. I’ve never tried to get them treated, but I was always frustrated about them. I first came to see Dr. Allen and Dr. Sharon Dubner because a friend of mine told me that the Dubners perform specialized advanced chiropractic work. He told me that when no other chiropractor or medical doctor had been able to help him the Dubners were successful in helping him with his severe allergies, back pain, and muscle stiffness. When first coming to see the Dubners I was chronically ill. I had constant shooting pains down my left arm and limited range of motion in my neck and shoulders. My muscles were so spasmed that joints in my body would dislocate at times. My previous doctor had taken x-rays, which showed that I had arthritis in my neck. It looked very calcified and he told me that it should never look that way and that because of the severity of my arthritis, surgery may be necessary. Adjustments at my previous chiropractor did not help and my arthritis worsened to the point where my other arm also started to freeze up. Due to my pain and disability, I thought my days of working construction were over. In addition to my arthritis symptons, I had chronic painful digestive problems, chronic fatigue, and chronic flu-like symptoms. When I received the gentle chiropractic adjustments from Drs. Dubner, they didn’t twist my neck at all and there were no cracking sounds. It was very gentle yet extremely powerful. Within only 3 months of beginning care, the shooting pains in my arms and shoulders was completely gone. I also had a much greater range of motion in my neck!!
