For many years I was suffering from painful osteoarthritis in every joint and had terrible pain in the nerves on my ankle. I was diagnosed with degenerative discs causing me severe pain in my lower back. I tried many different treatments. I tried physical therapy and acupuncture. Then, I went to my primary doctor and ask to see a neurologist, but instead I was sent to integrated medicine. There they prescribed me cortisone shots. The shots did not have any real side effects, but after 3 months I did not want to keep fueling my body with all these medications. None of these treatments seem to work for me. My body was suffering, it was getting harder and harder for me to do different things and I was becoming less enthusiastic. The pain level and my fatigue were so terrible that I got to the point where I did not even want to attempt to do anything. I have been going to Dr. Allen and Dr. Sharon for just 6 weeks and I have seen such great results! My general pain level was once an excruciating 10 but now it has decreased to a 1 or 0, which none of the medications I was taking were able to do. Due to the great decrease in my pain level, I feel more active and wanting to do more activities. As far as my muscle in my hamstring, it has improved significantly in strength. I do not feel as much hamstring pain and more importantly I have less muscle spasms. My constant fatigue has decreased and now I am more energetic. I am more relaxed and I appreciate regular daily things every chance I get. As an extra bonus my sinus congestion cleared up!

I first heard about the Dubners at a Sluggish Thyroid talk at Curves. I had just been diagnosed with sluggish thyroid and was tired all the time and having hot flashes.

After just 3 weeks of care and no medications, I am losing my belly bulge and can drive home from work without stopping to take a nap along the road. Also, my mid back “stress” pain is gone! Best of all, after 3 years of waking up every hour or so with a hot flash, I am now sleeping through the night. My hot flashes have decreased, I have more energy, and even my boss and co-workers notice a great difference in my attitude – all for the better. I am also able to do garden work, house work, and the laundry without getting tired and sore.

I had been suffering from headaches, fatigue, and muscle aches for thirteen years before I started care with the Drs. Dubner. The pain from my headaches was so intense that sometimes I would throw up. I felt them every time I ate chocolate, sometimes when I would wake up in the morning, or just anytime during the day. I felt the pain in my head as well as in my eyes. I saw three eye specialists and was given a CAT SCAN. The Medical Doctors could find nothing medically wrong with me. Within a month and a half of treatments with Dr. Sharon and Dr. Allen, I have only had one headache! The muscle aches are gone and I am no longer suffering fatigue. I sleep soundly now that all the pain is gone and have found that I have so much more energy. I am so much happier and have a much more positive outlook on life without all of the pain to deal with day in and day out. There’s nothing raining on my parade!

For much of my life I had been experiencing adrenal and blood pressure problems, headaches everyday, and fatigue to the point of not leaving my bed. After only six weeks of treatment I don’t feel fatigued anymore & my health keeps on improving! I have so much more energy that for the first time in two years I have been able to start exercising again! I have also been able to completely rid myself of headaches. I have been receiving care 5 months now and have had wonderful results! For years, I had been suffering from a Sluggish Thyroid, fatigue, weakness in my right leg, back pain, heart palpitations, and bladder leakage. The weakness in my right leg and my back pain made it impossible to stand for long periods of time and I could hardly stand long enough to prepare a meal. Every time I sneezed or sat in a chair, my bladder leaked, and I thought I may need to start wearing Depends. I had a very difficult time making it to the bathroom on time. My fatigue had me napping every day. In this short period of time, my Thyroid problems have gotten better, my leaky bladder is fixed, my heart palpitations are gone, I have more energy and hardly every nap. My weakness in my leg is almost gone and I rarely experience back pain. I can now lift my leg higher and have better control of my balance.
