When I first began seeing Dr. Allen and Dr. Sharon, I had constant pain in my joints and muscles which included my knee, ankle, elbow, wrist, fingers, arm and many other areas. These symptoms had bothered me for years. I was not able to squeeze my hand tightly and even had difficulties climbing up the stairs. On top of that, I was always feeling fatigued throughout the day. Within 2 months of seeing the doctors, my joint and muscle symptoms had improved. I can finally raise my leg and climb up the stairs without any problem. My fingers finally can touch my palm without pain. Since going on the food diet for 2 weeks, I feel calmer mentally and my fatigue has improved. Before coming to Dubner Chiropractic, I thought I was dying. I had been suffering about four years from migraines, low back pain, severe fatigue and intense sugar cravings. Whenever I went outside, the headaches would get worse. At times, the fatigue was intense to the point of momentary unconsciousness. I was so forgetful, which I felt terrible about. I could not even walk for ten minutes because of swollen feet, legs, shoulder and back pain. I had to rely on my husband to run all of our errands. I fell asleep at night with tears in my eyes because of the pain in my low back.

I originally came to the Dubners with neck and back pain issues related to poor posture. I had seen a physical therapist a couple years ago who told me my posture was causing pinched nerves. I went to a traditional chiropractor for almost a year after that with discouraging results – I was in more pain, and had developed a limp when walking. I had been diagnosed with Diabetes and High Blood Pressure about a year ago. Six months after being diagnosed, my symptoms got worse. I had been prescribed Metformin for the diabetes and Lisinopril for my blood pressure. While I didn’t have any side effects from the drugs, I also didn’t have any relief. Being on the medications did not help keep the diabetes or the blood pressure under control. They simply did not work for me. When things seemed to be getting worse, I found Dubner Chiropractic. I started treatments with both doctors, and started seeing results within a week! I was able to get off of my medications within a couple weeks and am now off of all medications. My blood pressure and diabetes levels are normal. I used to feel tired, often to the point of exhaustion. Nowadays I feel more energetic, more active and refreshed. In the last two months I’ve lost 12 lbs.! I feel great, and much less stressed than before. I have been seeing the Dubners for less than 3 months. Both doctors are wonderful to work with. For the past 9 months, I couldn’t make a fist or close my fingers. My medical doctor said he could not help me with what he said was arthritic hands. Because of high blood pressure, the medical doctor had me on high blood pressure medications. The high blood pressure meds had side effects of heaviness in my head. Because of insomnia and the fatigue it caused, I would run around like a zombie because I didn’t have any energy to do basic things.
I started seeing Dr. Allen and Dr. Sharon in October 2010. On the 9th day of treatment, I could close my left hand again and make a fist! Two days later, I could close my right hand! I’m sleeping much better now and get 6 hours of sleep a day, sometimes 6 ½ or even 7. It’s fabulous! Very quickly after starting care with the Dubners, my high blood pressure dropped so much that my medical doctor greatly decreased the blood pressure medication I had been on. The side effect from the pills of “heavy head” went away when I stopped the meds. Also I no longer have sugar cravings, and the Dr. Dubner taught me how to eat more healthfully.

I first came in to see the Doctors for my hip pain. It was extremely painful, I could only walk up the stairs one foot at a time, and I was unable to put full pressure on it. I also had nerve pain in my left calf muscle that went up my entire leg. Previous Doctors and Physical Therapists had told me it was my lower back causing the pain on my hip and leg, and said it should go away, but the pain never stopped for 2 years. Within 1 week of being treated by Dr. Allen & Dr. Sharon, it started feeling better and isn’t an issue at all now 5 weeks later! After having lung surgery 5 years ago, my mid-back hurt on and off. I have also lived with Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 10 years, so that I was tired and ached all over. It became a part of me, and I wasn’t expecting it to go away.
