I was diagnosed by my doctor with a frozen shoulder. I had lost most of my range of motion on my right shoulder which had begun early 2006. The pain I went through was horrible; it took more time out of my day to get things finished and it was terribly inconvenient. I suffered from extreme gastric reflux since my first pregnancy 18 years ago. I would carry Tums in my purse at all times and stow more in my car, desk, nightstand and every room of my house! When I was first diagnosed with breast cancer, my good friend Liv suggested I come to the Dubners to help me get through my chemotherapy and radiation. Little did I know that it would also help with literally every other aspect of my health! I have been plagued by chronic constipation most of my life, and I had other digestive problems. I am so amazed at how my digestion problems have improved since receiving care… and I’ve only been receiving care for a few weeks!!! For five years I have had very poor digestion, which included stomach pain, constipation, diarrhea, and poor food assimilation. So many foods irritated my stomach that I had to live on extremely limited diets. Medical Doctors were of little help, they only wanted to put me on drugs that cause side effects. I first came to see Dr. Allen and Dr. Sharon Dubner because a friend of mine told me that the Dubners perform specialized advanced chiropractic work. He told me that when no other chiropractor or medical doctor had been able to help him the Dubners were successful in helping him with his severe allergies, back pain, and muscle stiffness. When first coming to see the Dubners I was chronically ill. I had constant shooting pains down my left arm and limited range of motion in my neck and shoulders. My muscles were so spasmed that joints in my body would dislocate at times. My previous doctor had taken x-rays, which showed that I had arthritis in my neck. It looked very calcified and he told me that it should never look that way and that because of the severity of my arthritis, surgery may be necessary. Adjustments at my previous chiropractor did not help and my arthritis worsened to the point where my other arm also started to freeze up. Due to my pain and disability, I thought my days of working construction were over. In addition to my arthritis symptons, I had chronic painful digestive problems, chronic fatigue, and chronic flu-like symptoms. When I received the gentle chiropractic adjustments from Drs. Dubner, they didn’t twist my neck at all and there were no cracking sounds. It was very gentle yet extremely powerful. Within only 3 months of beginning care, the shooting pains in my arms and shoulders was completely gone. I also had a much greater range of motion in my neck!!
