My son started having allergies when he was 4 years old.His symptoms were sneezing, itchy, runny nose and nasal congestion.If left untreated, it would result in an ear infection or upper respiratory infection.He was on antibiotics every 2 months and also on steroid nasal spray for prevention of the symptoms.
Sebastian had environmental allergies since he was born. His symptoms included being allergic to grass and weather changes (air pressure). His most severe time of the year was the fall which would make him wheeze and cough. (more…)
Yesterday I went for a three month check up, where I learned my chronic bronchitis was worsening and my temp was 95 degrees. No wonder I was tired!! Well, having had my first adjustment, today was not like yesterday! This morning I got up and ironed ten shirts, fixed a big lunch, made a fruit salad, fixed a huge pot of vegetable soup, and helped with some admin work. I can’t believe it! Thank you, Dr. Sharon!!!
I’ve been looking for a system to “cure” asthma and nasal polyps for years and your combined treatments are working! I am breathing better every day through the nose and in the bronchials and lungs. I am clearer in my thinking (Yeah!) and can feel the energy in my meridians/nerves; it is exciting!! The measurements you do are very important and so is the education. I attended an allergy talk by the Drs. Dubner at the Saratoga YMCA late July of 2005. Before starting care with the Dubners, I had pain in my left shoulder which radiated to my arm and hand which I’ve had for about a year and a half and was progressively getting worse. It was so painful and numb that sometimes I couldn’t sleep at night. I also had trouble losing weight even though I exercised on a daily basis. I had been diagnosed with a thyroid problem 17 years ago. My thyroid problem would make my face and ankles constantly puffy, now, there is no more puffiness. Additionally, I had a lot of asthma-related symptoms including bronchitis. Last winter, I was on Prednisone and antibiotics constantly. This winter, so far so good. No bronchitis and no medications. I have been receiving care from Dr. Allen and Dr. Sharon for almost 5 months now and I feel much better than I have in years!! My shoulder pain is completely gone! I no longer have pain radiating down my arm and hand when doing an activity! I’ve lost 10 pounds in 3 weeks! I have no more asthma symptoms so I have stopped using my inhalers almost completely and no Prednisone and antibiotics! No more bronchitis! On top of all that, I don’t feel tired all the time like I used to. I’d like to thank the doctors and their staff. They are very helpful and kind. I think people who are still in debate or unsure should give the Dubners a try. For those who are starting out should stick it out for at least 4-6 months to allow enough time for their own results.
I am on my way to health! I have been a patient of both Dr. Sharon and Dr. Allen Dubner for the past two years. I was rather ill with severe bronchitis when I first arrived at Dubner Family Chiropractic Center. I have just enjoyed my first illness-free holiday season in about five years! During past holidays, I had been exhausted and overrun with so many allergy and candida symptoms that I would catch a severe upper respiratory affliction. I still have a long way to go, but I am thrilled with my progress!
We came to see the Dubners after many frustrating months of traditional medical care for my son, Jacob. For many months he had severe nasal congestion, wheezing cough, and he could hardly hear because of so much fluid in his ears. He had been breathing inhalers and was on his third type of antibiotic. He was also prescribed a nasal inhaler, which he never used because we decided to try some alternative care. After two and a half months of care by Dr. Allen and Dr. Sharon, Jacob is no longer congested or dripping. His coughing and wheezing are completely gone, and his hearing seems to be totally normal (and of course, he is no longer on medications). We are continuing his care. In conjunction with the Dubner’s work, we also consulted with a Naturopathic Doctor who was very helpful as well. Our whole family is receiving care by Dr. Allen as well! It is great!!
Both my boys had asthma and my oldest was on medication every day. I did not like the idea of them being on so much medicine so I called my sister who recommended this Chiropractic method. They no longer take their medicine and have been rarely sick this year. As for myself, I had many allergies including one to cats. But no more. After a year, we now have a house cat!
